SV	En de jongeling vertoogde niet, deze zaak te doen; want hij had lust in Jakobs dochter; en hij was geeerd boven al zijns vaders huis.
WLC	וְלֹֽא־אֵחַ֤ר הַנַּ֙עַר֙ לַעֲשֹׂ֣ות הַדָּבָ֔ר כִּ֥י חָפֵ֖ץ בְּבַֽת־יַעֲקֹ֑ב וְה֣וּא נִכְבָּ֔ד מִכֹּ֖ל בֵּ֥ית אָבִֽיו׃
Trans.	wəlō’-’ēḥar hann^a‘ar l^a‘ăśwōṯ hadāḇār kî ḥāfēṣ bəḇaṯ-y^a‘ăqōḇ wəhû’ niḵəbāḏ mikōl bêṯ ’āḇîw:

AC	יט ולא אחר הנער לעשות הדבר כי חפץ בבת יעקב והוא נכבד מכל בית אביו
ASV	And the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter: and he was honored above all the house of his father.
BE	And without loss of time the young man did as they said, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter, and he was the noblest of his father's house.
Darby	And the youth did not delay to do this, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter. And he was honourable above all in the house of his father.
ELB05	Und der Jüngling zögerte nicht, dies zu tun, denn er hatte Gefallen an der Tochter Jakobs. Und er war geehrt vor allen im Hause seines Vaters.
LSG	Le jeune homme ne tarda pas à faire la chose, car il aimait la fille de Jacob. Il était considéré de tous dans la maison de son père.
Sch	und der Jüngling zögerte nicht, solches zu tun; denn er hatte Lust zu der Tochter Jakobs und war der Angesehenste von seines Vaters Hause.
